Here are some frequently asked questions which will tell you more about me and my photography:

When did you start photography?

I got my first camera when I was 16, and shortly thereafter turned the family bathroom into a darkroom (not very popular with the rest of the family however).

What camera do you use?

I have used Canon cameras until a couple of years ago when I bought my first Leica M - love at first sight and she rarely leaves my side. I also use a couple of medium format cameras.

Do you prefer digital or film?

I shoot both with digital and analog cameras. My subject and mood dictate what I will use and I am happy using both. However, I will admit that I have a real attraction to grain in film and working in the darkroom.

Can I order a print?

Of course! Please contact me for further information.

Do you travel a lot?

As much as I can. India and Japan are on the list, and a return to the American South West too. I do hop over to European cities as often as I can but my daily hunting ground is London.

Do you photograph in black & white only?

No, I do take colour photographs depending on the project I am working on.

Have you always been a photographer?

No. Once upon a time I was a finance lawyer and a rare book dealer. Life is full of surprises.
